UNIgreen, or The Green European University, is an international alliance of eight universities from Europe that aims to promote excellence in areas such as sustainable agriculture, green biotechnology and environmental and life sciences. The project was established as part of the European Universities initiative, supported by the European Commission, and aims to increase cooperation in research, education and innovation.
At SGGW in Warsaw (Warsaw University of Life Sciences), UNIgreen focuses on promoting international cooperation in sustainable agriculture, green biotechnology and environmental and life sciences. As part of this alliance, the university participates in research and education projects that enable students, researchers and administrative staff to exchange experiences, develop skills and implement joint teaching and research programmes with other partner universities.
