Educational Services

The scope of support offered to university staff of the UNIgreen Alliance within the Project includes the following educational services:

Intercultural Communication Course: The course program included:

  • Practical improvement of communication skills in international relations.
  • Communication between university staff and international students.
  • Communication between staff from partner universities within the UNIgreen alliance.
  • Effective cooperation in an international academic environment.
  • Challenges for international teams.

Train the Trainers Course on Internationalisation and Trainer Skills: The course program included:

  • Global competencies,
  • Intercultural sensitivity, and

Measures against stereotypes and discrimination. A truly international university is not just about cooperation, but also about openness, mindfulness, and mutual respect.

Intergenerational Communication Course focused on New Generations (Z and Alpha): The course program included:

  • Issues related to understanding modern students who grew up in the world of new technologies,
  • Practical communication tools are useful in everyday academic work.

Participants analysed the generational landscape – from Baby Boomers to Generation Alpha and discussed the specific traits of Generation Z in the learning process, their motivation, fear of failure, and the need for immediate feedback. They also considered how Generation Alpha might transform higher education in the coming years.

IROICA – Staff Week 2026
IROICA is a European network bringing together international relations staff at universities of biosciences and agriculture. Its main goal is to strengthen international cooperation and foster the professional development of international office staff.

The International Relations Office at SGGW is responsible for coordinating the Project.
