Dominika Kliszczak – UNIgreen Ambassador at SGGW

My name is Dominika Kliszczak, and I’m a sociology student at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
I serve as the president of the Interfaculty Scientific Circle for Interdisciplinary Research “Argonauts” and as a member of the Sociologists’ Scientific Circle.
As a UNIgreen Ambassador, I represent my university in an international alliance promoting sustainability, innovation, and cross-border collaboration.
Which added value or benefits of UNIgreen would you like to highlight, and why?
UNIgreen gives me the feeling of being part of something greater than just my university.
It’s a space full of inspiring people where I can grow, share experiences, and explore how science and sustainability come together in real life.
Through this project, I’m learning about cooperation, openness, and working for the common good.
Personal meaning and reflection
To me, UNIgreen means community and openness – a space where collaboration replaces competition.
If I had to describe it in one word, it would be growth – personal, academic, and collective.
Can you share one concrete way UNIgreen is making a positive impact?
Through UNIgreen, I’ve met students and researchers from different countries, with whom I collaborate on international projects and initiatives.
This experience taught me that diversity is strength and that joint actions can truly shape a more connected and sustainable academic world.
If UNIgreen were plants, how would you describe them?
If UNIgreen were plants, it would be a vine – growing in many directions, connecting different branches of science and people from across borders.
Each new leaf represents an idea, initiative, or connection that makes the entire structure stronger and more alive.
